What can you say about Raccoon River that has not already been said. If you want to stay at a camping ground that has all the amenities, location, and security. Try it one weekend and you will be hooked like my wife and I were. After one stay we no longer stay at our other campground. The staff is great and very helpful.

The campground is a very nice place. The Staff of Raccoon River are very nice and helpful. The pools are great. Wonderful place to take your kids because our boys love to stay at RR. Security at night, walking distance to the beach, stores, fun places, and best of all Shipwreck Island is right next door.

This was our first trip to PCB. We found the Raccoon River Campground on the internet and didn't really know what to expect when we got there in person. Well, it was great! Nice people work there, great pools, camping areas, clean, secure, great location, price. I have nothing bad to say. I have told everyone about it and I will go back next year!

We stayed at Raccoon River for Spring Break this year (April 2008) and we loved it..It was clean and they had so much to offer..Security was out at night making sure everything was ok..The lady in the front she was very nice and made us feel welcomed..We all each were given armbands and they made sure they told us where everything was located within the campgrounds as well as places to go see at PCB. This is our 3rd year at Raccoon River Campground (our 20th in P.C.Beach). We come for the winter, staying 4 months. The employees are very friendly and helpful should any problems arise. The restrooms and washrooms are kept very clean. The campground setting is rustic and campfires are allowed (in rings) so that you always feel like you're "roughing it" no matter what type of rig you own. Hopefully, we will be able to spend many more years...

Fantastic! It has been a while since we visited, unfortunately we no longer have our camper. Raccoon River was the most fun we had camping! At night we would walk up to the beach and see the night life, play goofy golf, etc. I really must get another camper! You must give it a try!

We have been staying at Raccoon River Campground for three years. We love it more with every return trip.We are packing now for an 8 day stay. We love the fact that the kids have 2 pools and a playground to occupy them. The staff is great and the restrooms are clean! Camp store right on the grounds is very nice. The campground itself is fine, its the power hookup, it is ridicules. I could not use my air conditioning because of low voltage. And the campground maintenance man told me the compressor in my air condition was bad and he knew a good air man, Hum? Not only the air, but you couldn't run any appliance, not even a box fan without tripping one of my camper breaker. I had a four night reservation and only stayed two days, couldn't stand the heat...
