Not Pet Friendly!
This campground says it accepts dogs but you have to walk them deep in the woods where they have their dumpsters! It was real scary to walk there with your dog especially at night. You actually have to drive there to walk your dog! You can't leave your site with your dog. The sites were extremely small and was on rocks. The inflatable pictured on their site in the pond isn't even what's there! You have to swim to it thru a dirty pond full of...

Odetah Campground not family friendly
We camped seasonal at Odetah for 4 years and every year got worse and worse. The "good" staff was fired last year(2007) and people who did not speak English were hired. There were several incidents of State Police coming for fights and someone tried to commit suicide there twice. Do you want to camp where someone is so unhappy they actually wanted to kill themselves. There was a someone who pooped in the lake and a man fished it out with a net....

My family and I discovered Odetah Campground in 2005 when we stayed for the fourth of july week. At this time we had a small popup trailer. Campsite was right next to the highway - from TripAdvisor.com

My family and three of our friends booked full hook up sites at Odetah Campground and the highway was only a couple of feet away. Needless to say sitting by the fire and outside was very loud and annoying. You had to yell to hear anything. The nighttime did not get any better. Even with the windows closed and the air conditioner on we could still hear the constant traffic and did not sleep well. Overall these people did not plan the location of...

Disappointment from Odetah Campground - from TripAdvisor.com

I recently booked a weekend stay at Odetah Campground in CT and secured it with a $100.00 deposit. A few days later I was phoned to be advised that the booking was in error and my deposit was to be returned. The booking agent told me all weekends were booked but two, which were not an option for me. I asked to speak to a manager who was very kind but not willing to make any adjustments for their mistake. Unfortunately, I would have to book a...
