This is not just a place to camp for a night when traveling to your vacation destination, this place is the destination! Spacious sites and Hosts that are very Accommodating. This is the only place that I've been that sells firewood "bundles" with a tractor bucket.

Awesome Place for some R&R

We were shocked at how peaceful this campground really was considering it was just off the road and only a few miles from town. The grounds are pristine and clean, the hikes have beautiful views, the hosts are very accommodating and there are lots of sites with privacy. If you don't want to camp all weekend, Cripple Creek is just up the street. Definitely would recommend to all and we will be staying here again.

What a treasure; spacious sights,beautiful hiking available, yes they have trees, a playground for the kids and warm showers for mom. My family will most certainly return to this little piece of God's Country. It was the best value we've found in years. Recently made a visit to the Colorado mountains and found myself surrounded by beauty. This campground was a sheer delight! Nestled in a valley and surrounded by huge pines and rock cliffs, we never had a better time. Highly recommend taking the time to visit this "lost" campground.

A gold nugget in the middle of gold country

This campground is the best in the State! Nestled in a tree filled valley and spread out enough that each site gives you all the space you could want. Just up the road 4 miles to the gambling town of Cripple Creek and beyond that the huge and active gold mining operations of the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine.
The campground has everything you might need from shower facilities to marshmallows to roast on the campfire to electrical plug...
