We had such a terrible experience over the phone with Alpen Rose. They already had our deposit for a premium spot but moved us into a regular site in the open meadow. The manager denied ever promising a premium spot to us, called me a liar, charged me a cancellation fee and was yelling at me. Sounded and look great however

This place looks great from the highway and the web site makes it sound great, however it is where they put you that counts. We were right behind the bath house, not a good site at all. Most sites in the back are small and your right on top of the next guy. Front spots are larger and better. Restrooms are very clean and the staff were friendly until after you paid for the spot. We camped in a 30ft 5th wheel.
