We stayed in the J section of Campland on the Bay, right by the beach, and a huge grass area that was perfect for our 2 year old to run around in! They have a private beach that we enjoyed all weekend! Pools too, although a bit crowded but still fun! This was the worst camping that I have ever been. It was too crowded and the size of each camp spot is twice the size of a car. So the distance between tents is less than one foot. Plus that, the TVs are too loud. During the night, restrooms stink a lot and are very dirty.

I've been going to Campland on the Bay since I was a little kid. I love being there. It's one of my favorite vacation spots. There are many things for all ages to enjoy. They even have a weekly schedule of events where they have activities, contests, shows, etc. It's a GREAT place to bring your ENTIRE family. I'd recommend Campland on the Bay to everyone.

After getting good reviews about this place, we decided to plan our memorial day weekend here. My husband and 2 kids w/ us. When you go the website, it advertises this place like a "great place for the kids!" We get there only to find out that the primitive section is basically (and this is no joke) a parking lot w/ dirt on it. This campsite is nice, to a point, we found that out when staying in a tent. The people who were located next to us, found interest in putting their tents about a foot next to us, while a spot light was on throughout the night, on top of that, everyone had tvs blasting all night. This campsite is very crowded, and I would only recommend it for camp rvs.
