Camping & Fishing Right on Hat Creek

This campground is in a really great environment, tucked into tall pine trees and directly along Hat Creek. The trout fishing is great right in the park, with lots of people catching their dinner just a few feet from their RVs. Bad Refund Policy - from TripAdvisor.com
I booked and paid for our campsite weeks in advance. A few days before our arrival the weather report called for thunderstorms. The folks at this place told me that in order to get a refund I had to cancel at least 7 days in advance.
If you stay here, don't make a reservation unless you know the weather will cooperate or you don't care about camping in a storm, otherwise they will keep your money.

Store on site, right on the Hat Creek where we saw fishermen catch fish. Also cabins and RV hook-ups. Very clean and quiet. Only problem was that the outside light was on all night and the mini blind did not keep the light out. Cost was $68.00 ... a great...
