all the family goes camping every year for the labor day weekend we always have fun, it is a very nice place to camp. People go there to have fun, other campers were very nice and respectful, no noise, no loud music.
but we found a problem this year, there is leeches in the river and we were all hesitant to get in. this is the main attraction.
Other than that we had a great time.

Bad staff, rude campers, leeches and trash in river, 4 power outages. RV campers, stay away! Left early, very disappointed.
Arrived at the campsite early on reserved day, was given the riot act for not having all the forwarded documentation. My wife had all the documents, but was scheduled to arrive later that night. La Jolla Indian Campground is not a good place to camp with your family. The people who live on this reservation are very unfriendly and violent. My children and I were down splashing by the river and a woman slapped my daughter in the face. I have no idea why. This woman was a resident of the reservation. La Jolla is by far the best place ever. Me & my family have gone a couple times and each time the kids and us adults have a blast...the best thing of it all is that we leave there with great memories, and we take lots of pictures.
