Let me start off by saying if you don't want to be around noisy people...don't go camping period. The whole point of camping is having a great don't be upset that a group of people are having a blast and you're not. Go get a hotel room or something and "camp" there... This was the best place I have ever been to for a camping trip. The Indians were super friendly to me and my friends, the guy at the front especially. They have... Read More >>

Sept 2, 2008: all the family goes camping every year for the labor day weekend we always have fun, it is a very nice place to camp. People go there to have fun, other campers were very nice and respectful, no noise, no loud music. but we found a problem this year, there is leeches in the river and we were all hesitant to get in. this is the main attraction. Other than that we had a great time. Read More >>

Bad staff, rude campers, leeches and trash in river, 4 power outages. RV campers, stay away! Left early, very disappointed. Arrived at the campsite early on reserved day, was given the riot act for not having all the forwarded documentation. My wife had all the documents, but was scheduled to arrive later that night. The lady I talked to treated me like a 5 yr old, without have said anything other than I didn't have the paperwork. The... Read More >>

La Jolla Indian Campground is not a good place to camp with your family. The people who live on this reservation are very unfriendly and violent. My children and I were down splashing by the river and a woman slapped my daughter in the face. I have no idea why. This woman was a resident of the reservation. We had our food stolen right in front of us by some local men. My husband and our friends attempted to stop the situation but were told that... Read More >>

La Jolla is by far the best place ever. Me & my family have gone a couple times and each time the kids and us adults have a blast...the best thing of it all is that we leave there with great memories, and we take lots of pictures. Do not recommend you to take little ones (0-2yrs.). It could be a little unsafe for them. A lot of the campsites are very close to the river, so you gotta be careful with the little ones. Yes, the weekends or... Read More >>

I've been going to La Joll Indian Campground for over 23 yrs. My parents took me when I was a kid and now I take my children. The time of year that I prefer to go has changed now that I do have children so that we can have a peaceful time. Although, I do like to go on the major holidays I know I can expect the showers and the water to be busy. I used to get upset with the facility but, I know that it is not their fault that people are not... Read More >>
