If you are looking for a place to camp that the owner and staff truly care about you having a positive experience, this is the place. Aaron, the owner, goes out of his way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Despite constant rain, we enjoyed our stay. Exceptional hospitality

We stayed at Kamp Klamath a few weeks before the season really got started. When we arrived it was pouring down rain. One of the employees took us to our site and helped us to get situated at the expense of getting drenched.
Aaron the owner was extremely hospitable. He took the time to help us plan our adventures in the Redwoods. He and his staff are very knowledgeable about the area.

I spent the summer there. I'm a retired trucker, and wanted some fishing time and boy did I get some fishing. Thanks to Aaron and Doug I caught a record rainbow perch at Wilson Beach. August 21, 2008 took customers and employees fishing on the Klamath River. We stayed at Kamp Klamath, located on the south side of the river 11/2 miles from the mouth of the ocean. Although the fishing was tough due to tribal netting this time of year, the stay at Kamp Klamath was great. The staff is so helpful and talented it made up for the tough fishing. Kamp Klamath was Absolutely Amazing! The scenery was Beautiful! I definitely recommend it if you just want to get away and relax! We recently stayed at Kamp Klamath due to the decent reviews (and because all of the Redwood National & State campsites were fully booked).
We were highly disappointed with our stay.
My review is an opinion on the tent section of Kamp Klamath and not the RV section.

We spent three nights and two days in this wonderful out of the way RV campground. It was great. The peace and quiet alone makes it worth the trip. It was a great jumping off spot for the many attractions that are in the area. We even got to "drive through a tree" and that was an experience. Even the truck was sweating.

We chose this RV park since it was a Passport America park. The park was well maintained, quiet, and the management was very helpful letting us know about the activities in the Redwood Park which adjoins the park. I would recommend this park to other RV'ers who appreciate a nice park at reasonable rates.
