Our New RV Home Base

Darlene and I fell in love with the Desert Gardens RV Oasis the very first moment we saw it. We bought Lot E-45 immediately at the end of the first day tour. I am so proud of it, I put a web page up to describe it.
Come for a visit and you might just fall in love also.

Watch out for their refund policy!
|
|
We reserved a week with Moab Valley RV Park based on their website. You may have seen where it says "real pictures, real recent". What the pictures didn't show was that the mosquitoes and the raw sewage smell were so bad that we couldn't spend one single evening outside our RV's.
With three nights to go, we spoke to them about a refund for the unused days so we could move to another location away from the river. They were so quick to inform us of their "NO REFUND" policy that it was obvious we weren't the first to make this request.
I can entirely understand such a policy if we reserved the space and didn't show up, or if we just decided to go home early, etc., but when we were moving across town because the conditions at their park were terrible, I believe we should have been reimbursed for the unused nights.
I cannot think of another product that you have to pay for in advance and cannot get a refund for a portion that you not only didn't use, but you never even received.

Perfect.
|
|
We stayed at Normandy Farms Campground for 4 days in June of 2008. Everything about our stay was perfect. I made reservations several months on advance. The person who took my call was extremely pleasant and helpful. This attitude carried through our entire stay.
The grounds are very well kept and the facilities in great shape.
They have 3 pools, several laundry facilities, baseball fields, Frisbee golf, 2 playgrounds and much more.
They have many activities throughout the day for the kids and adults.
We were very impressed and will return as soon as we are in the Boston area again.

Return camper for several years
|
|
I have been going to Lakeside Campground to camp for several years. The owners are very friendly, pleasant and always willing to help in anyway if you need it. This is a beautiful, quiet, serene camp ground that is well kept. It is a family oriented park that has lots of leisure recreation and planned events during the summer. The camp store is well stocked with items you might forget or need and there are a couple of large grocery stores less then 5 miles away if you need other supplies. I would recommend this park for anyone because I know they will want to come back.

Great camping trip
|
|
Our family just loved our stay at Eel River Campground. The country scenery is beautiful and the campground has the most peaceful, relaxing atmosphere we've found in a long time. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We had forgotten our water hose and they let us borrow one of theirs. It was nice not to have a "check out time" cause Sunday was beautiful and we stayed till 7 pm. The bathrooms and showers were nicer than any state park and well maintained. Over all we just raved about our stay and can't wait to go back. We would highly recommend Eel River campground.

Beautiful campground with paved access roads near Interstate 81. I stop twice a year while going back and forth to Florida. They have cable tv and are open all year. I love the nautical theme in the PA mountains.
