Hostile RV environment

Despite claims of friendly, service-oriented, and family/kid loving accommodations, the Dogwood Springs RV Park in Jasper Arkansas proved to be the most hostile, worst camping facility in our 30+ years of traveling. Their ad is a complete fraud and the resort is not a member of AAA as advertised. Upset Camper

Worst camping ever. We were verbally abused and threatened with physical violence. The owner damaged our 30 amp extension plug when he violently ripped it out of the outlet. We were forced to move to another campground even though we had paid for 3 nights months earlier. The owner refused to refund our money and told us we would have to "sue" him. We filed a police report with the Jasper Police Department and spoke with the Chamber of Commerce....

Great Experience!

We stayed in our 5th wheel at Dogwood Springs in June 07 and loved the experience. The spaces seemed private and wooded, and the location could not have been better. We were able to get out and about easily with this location, and enjoyed canoeing on the river as well as the local food in downtown Jasper. Our campground at Dogwood Springs was always quiet and clean when we returned from a hard day of vacation fun.
