Best RV park within Grand Canyon National Park - from TripAdvisor.com
|
|
Xanterra Trailer Village is the only RV park within the park that can accommodate larger RVs with full hook ups including cable. We no sooner arrived in the late afternoon Oct 10th and the deer and fawns were roaming around eating from the frees. We fortunately had a spot right next to an acorn tree so they came to feed every day at dusk to feed. The park is close to the free shuttle and to grocery shopping. It was an excellent trip and plan to...

Just about adequate given location - from TripAdvisor.com

Trailer Village is ok for what it is. Overgrown and unkept, crowded. Full hookups though and ideally located for the Grand Canyon. All are pull through sites so that is a bonus. Deer do wander about. Not pretty or beautiful just functional. Probably wouldn't return though.

Not impressed - from TripAdvisor.com

My family and another family traveled from Ohio out west for two weeks. We rented RV's in Vegas and spent 10 days touring areas in Utah, Arizona and Nevda. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a no frills campground, but lets face it you are there to see the canyon, not the campground.
The sites are close together, but we didn't have any problems.
The shuttle picks you up right at the front of the park and takes you anywhere you want to go.
I would highly recommend that location to someone visiting the the National Park. There is nothing for kids to do, but since we were busy hiking the...

Convenient but no frills - from TripAdvisor.com
|
|
We spent three nights last July in the Trailer Village at the Grand Canyon Park. It was easy to get to, nice to have full hookups. There is a park bus transport pickup at the entrance to the TV. The downside was it was really no frills as the actual spots were very small and there wasn't much shade. The visitor laundry was at a different section of the park, so if you want to do laundry it's an excursion. Overall you have to overlook the...
