Breath of Fresh Air
Canyon Motel & RV Park has a great location. We loved the fresh smell of pine trees in the air. It is close to the Grand Canyon. The cabin rate is reasonable. The cabin very clean and maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend this motel.

Beyond Clean
We just got home from our 3 night stay at the Circle Pines KOA Campground in Williams, Arizona. I was impressed with the number of employees we saw during our stay. Every time I turned around there was a staff member cleaning or helping someone. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind if you and planning to camp here. First is its proximity to the freeway. It is right next to I-40, so you do here the freeway noise. There are also active train tracks within hearing distance of the campground (although we were not bothered by the trains, we did hear them). Also, the tent spaces are completely covered with pea gravel. This is good in the sense that it cuts down on mud, but it is also something to consider as it is harder on your camping gear. The campground is about 60 minutes from the Grand Canyon. I don't write these as negatives, just things to consider when making a decision on where to stay. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Kudos to the staff for cleanliness.

Family Fun RV park (and train motel)
We brought our trailer along with another family and their trailer to the Canyon Motel and RV Park for a quick weekend outing. When we arrived to check in the greeting was very friendly and informative. They gave us a welcome pack, and lots of coupons to local places. There is an indoor pool that was very clean and the kids had a blast. There is also a small playground with swings, and play cars. Walking around the grounds was a site - an old railcar, and 2 old caboose cars that are used as rooms. There is a large community firepit and some nice BBQ's. Our kids really enjoyed the area as did we. The RV sites are good and level - not too many trees right at the sites but there is a large forest area behind the campground. There is also a local street with homes just outside the property but we were never bothered. The location is also close to the highway but again we were not bothered as the RV area is back behind the Motel area. You did hear and see the Grand Canyon trains but that was part of the fun. With all this said we were in a Tent trailer and had no problem sleeping even with the monsoon storms passing through. We noticed as well that everyone we encountered who was also staying there was friendly and seemed happy with their stay. We made a trip to the local deer farm and really enjoyed that. We will return for another stay as we think this place is fun and friendly. Only draw back is the sites are somewhat close to each other but not any closer than most private campgrounds. A bonus is that they have sites for friends to camp together - we may try that next time! Oh and they are in the process of building bathrooms/showers although there is a bathroom in the pool house which was clean and never busy. We will go back again as we love the little town of Williams and the friendly people we have met.

Nice campground
Overall nice campground. Centrally located to everything. Though you do not have a view of the canyon at any campsite. I thought I heard the other campground in the East entrance does. Campground is very rocky so tent campers make sure you have lots of cushion for the floor of your tent. We would stay there again.

Not impressed
My family and another family traveled from Ohio out west for two weeks. We rented RV's in Vegas and spent 10 days touring areas in Utah, Arizona and Nevda. We spent our time at 5 different campgrounds in these areas. This campsite at Trailer Village was the worse one we stayed at. For a government owned campground, I was very disappointed. It was not clean, dusty, weeds growing all over and what grass was there, it was not cut. No close accommodating bathrooms. I was glad we only stayed there one night. Do not recommend this place.
