No services, no shower, no water, high price$$
I stayed at the Montana Creek Campground in August 2008. I must say they do not offer a whole lot for their $40.00 lot charge. They do have electricity hookup...but that's about it. No showers, No restroom facilities other than nasty chemical toilets, no water hookups or dump facilities for your RV. I was stunned and amazed. They are the only campground/RV park on the Parks highway without these services and yet they were the most expensive I stayed at. I would recommend the willow creek resort/campground or the Little Su campground if you are planning on camping or RVing in the area. These two places offer all services, all hookups and are a few dollars cheaper than the Montana Creek Campground.

Cabin at Carlo Creek Lodge was great!
We loved staying at this place! It is south of Denali NP, about a 15 minute drive. We stayed in cabin #4, which was about 20-30 feet away from the nearest cabin. There was a very nice swift flowing creek about 20 feet from the back of our cabin and we could hear it at night as we were falling asleep. Our cabin had a double (maybe queen) bed and a twin bed. The bathroom and shower were small. The place was very quiet and the people in the office were very nice and helpful. Mom said that she would like to stay there for a week.

Miller's Landing Poor Service
Miller's Landing is a very poor place to do business with. It is a very trashy looking place in a very beautiful area of Alaska. Their fishing charter service is terrible. I booked an all day halibut charter for myself and two others. We only caught 1 fish in 12 hours. This is considered terrible for halibut fishing in this area. They were very unprepared. I would avoid this place at all costs. Don't be fooled by their flashy looking website. It is trashy.

Great place to stay
Had two nights here. Management were friendly, very helpful and generous. It's a long way from our New Zealand home up here in Alaska but the way we were treated here would make this the first place to stay if we are lucky enough to come back this way again.

Great place to stay!
If you have the opportunity to stop, this is a good central location for lots of activity. The WiFi works well and the bathhouse is very clean. The laundry facilities are good. The sites are good size and the office has recommendations for places to fish, eat, hike and sight see. They even have activities such as the clam chowder social and pot luck dinners. This is a quiet park where you can feel at home. Instead of moving the RV around the Kenai, we stayed here and traveled to Homer and Seward (Seward was a little far for a day trip).
