Miller's Landing Poor Service

Miller's Landing is a very poor place to do business with. It is a very trashy looking place in a very beautiful area of Alaska. Their fishing charter service is terrible. I booked an all day halibut charter for myself and two others. We only caught 1 fish in 12 hours. This is considered terrible for halibut fishing in this area. They were very unprepared. I would avoid this place at all costs. Don't be fooled by their flashy looking website. It is trashy.

Miller's Landing has oceanfront and wooded RV sites, power, water, laundry, wireless, coin operated internet, an oceanfront lobby with a cozy wood stove, store, gifts and oceanfront deck; potluck dinners with freshly caught fish every Saturday and more. There are boat/motor rentals, fishing charters leaving right from the campground, a shuttle bus to and from town for a minimal fee; kayak rentals, kayak lessons with ACA Certified instruction; 3 premier water taxi boats on site; 4 fishing charter vessels on site; beach fishing; hiking trails to Caines' Head State Park and tonsina from the campground area; pole rentals; and discounted SeaLife Center tickets. There are also seaside camping cabins and full accommodation cabins for rent at all price ranges. Free coffee all day long.
