Lakeside RV park in Opelika, Alabama is a dump. The worst campground I've ever seen. I was a permanent resident for 7 months. For the last two months I was blamed for a former camper's negative review of the park. I was threatened and intimidated and finally thrown out with just a few days notice. Camping In A Junkyard

The front of the park features junk vehicles under their sign and our host met us at the entrance holding a beer. There was never anyone in the office (old mobile home) and we were directed to yet another mobile home if we needed service in the future. There was junk everywhere, empty mobile homes, equipment, cars, trailers, and other material in piles or scattered about. There is a junkyard at one end of the park and a sandpit at the other. The...
