I am only rating a one star because it has gotten to the point where we leaving Island Retreat due to the deteriorating condition. We have been staying in this campground for several years because we love the location, our fellow campers, and the church services that are offered to our children. Nice park, good location

We stayed 4 nights at the Island Retreat RV Park in October of 2008. They had all of the amenities we needed including full hook-up, a pool, playground, cable tv, etc.
The RV Park is about 2 miles from the beach and a mile from the actual town of the Gulf Shores.
The staff was extremely helpful. The woman at the desk went out of her way to tell us about local restaurants and attractions in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area.
